News - Alcohol Awareness Report

A joint project between Lancashire County Council Young People's Service and West Lancashire Community Safety Partnership for the last few months has been around the issue of young people and alcohol.

Work continued in 2008 with the development of a DVD film on the theme of "Binge drinking" and young people involved in the peer education group were hard at work on the production of this high quality resource called "Wasted". The new DVD was launched at an event at Edgehill College on June 23rd and the dvd will be available to schools youth groups and colleges in the area from September.
